Dear Participant in RiS4,

You are probably busy with end-of-the-year activities so we will keep it brief this time.

Conference Program

You will also find a pdf-version of a booklet of abstracts for papers and panels presented at the conference.

You will receive a printed version of the booklet when you sign in at the registration desk at the welcome reception Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at 16.45 at Copenhagen City Hall or the first day of the conference, Wednesday, Jan. 16.

Preparing your presentation

Whether you are presenting as part of a pre-arranged panel or have submitted a paper individually, you have 30 minutes at your disposal. This means that you can speak for up to 20 minutes and still have 10 minutes for discussion. We ask all participants to respect these time limits as this will allow listeners to change rooms with the least disturbance for speakers and provide listeners with the greatest chance of “catching” the papers they would like to hear.

There will be a data projector and a computer in every room, available to speakers who wish to use PowerPoint for their presentations. Make sure to bring your presentation on a USB-stick or your own computer (and an adaptor if you use a Mac computer or iPad). There will be wireless internet in some conference areas, but we cannot guarantee internet access in the conference rooms, so please don’t plan to be online for your presentation.

Conference publication

We are looking into various options for publishing a selection of edited papers from the conference. Once we have more information on that, we will share it and instructions on how to submit your paper.
